Anyone know waht this relates to?

My car threw an amber brake alarm with service indicator three times yesterday at start up but today it's fine.
I checked the error log and it had thrown the code below.

"Lining Wear VA not / incorrectly initialized"

I am presuming it's related to brake pad wear indicators but is there anyway of knowing which one?

Thanks for any help.

I'm not a friend of electronic car diagnostics but VA presumably stays for Vorderachse (front axle)

I wouldn't be to much concerned. Maybe the indicator is right on the edge of switching from stage 1 to stage 2 and the alarm will stay off steady after driving some more miles. If it comes back however check the connector
