P3 vent gauge and code clearing

Hey all just wondering if anyone has experience with this??? I have the P3 vent gauge but just read up on something that we can clear codes via the config menu! Just looking to see if anyone else on here has done this personally or had success clearing codes of any sort? I think this would be a great read up or FYI if we can clear codes via how P3 says we can. Tim@P3Cars.com

I never did get a chance to use that functionality but it was advertised. It's supposed to read them out as soon as the gauge is booted on. However, it only reads codes that would set off the CEL, 'not' soft codes.

Yes that would set off a CEL... so theoretically, it should read it and you should be able to clear it - one time only. So after you clear it, after another drive cycle or so the CEL will come back on. Seems like an opportunity for P3 to add functionality to their software to periodically check for certain CEL's and delete them automatically... may take up CAN bandwidth which the car may not like though..

The CEL turned on after I installed an aftermarket intake. The CEL turned off itself after 2 days. The P3 showed a code when starting the car. I tried to clear this code but it doesn't work. The code still shows up on the P3 when starting car.
