I just ordered 520d badge for my 2012 550. I just want to have some fun before I sell this beast for M4 or M6

Has anyone else done something similar?

Too Funny. Although, I think anyone knowing what a 520d was would know the dual pipes are a 550.

I think it would be more effective if you used a 3 series badge.

why not 535i badge and complete with 535i owners, since both models have the same exhaust layout.

I'm serious guys, the emblem is on its way. It's definitely more fun to do that with an M model, but dinan 550 is powerful enough for this kind of fun. I'll post some pictures in a few days.

The 518d engine is only an option for the f10 LCI.

The 520 comes with a single exhaust...the 535 is a dual exhaust

Yes, just like the 528i. In fact all f10's with engines smaller than the 535 has the twin tips on the left side.

But how will you fool them with the 550 Exhausts? I'm thinking of Doing this on an X6, change from 50i to 35i badging and Exhaust, would be hilarious to see people's reactions to how fast BMW's "6cyl" is

I have quad exhaust. Most people will think that I only changed the exhaust.
