rim and tires sizes for E90
Looking to buy these use rims and tires from member.
Will these fit E90 Pre-LCI? I want to look flush after dropping w/ ST coilover. don't you guys think tires look narrow for the rims? Rims are front 19x8.5xET35 & rear 19x9.5xET40 Tires are front 225/40/19 & rear 245/35/19 thanks and appreciate your help in advance |

Its not so much that they are too narrow, but they are stretched a little. All depends what look you are going for. If you end up trying to get really low and flush with spacers you may need the stretch to help not rub.

Your ideal tire sizes would be 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear. Running 245/35/19 tires on a 9.5" rear will not only have a small contact patch to the road, but also leave your wheels vulnerable to damage.

I run 235/35/19 tires in the front on oem sport suspension. I have a pre-lci E90. I rolled the fenders and I still rub. It rubs on the area where the bumper meets the fender. It happens on dips in the road at high speeds. There is a bracket that sticks out. You can cut this area out to avoid rubbing.

In my opinion if you want flush look you need spacers. 15mm front and 20mm rear would make it look good, but it would require rear fender roll. Also change the tyres to one of these combo.
225/35/19 255/30/19 225/35/19 265/30/19 235/35/19 265/30/19 Or if you want just change the front tyre to 225/35/19 and use the 245/35/19 rear, but only if your car is RWD. Here is couple examples of 19x8.5 et20ish, 19x9.5 et20ish wheels, this is close what you would get with 15mm and 20mm spacers. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...1&postcount=19 http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=211

A) those tires are a little narrow for those wheels unless you want some stretch.
B) pre-LCI sedans can run 9.5 et23 at rear, with 265/30 tires. Maybe with minimal rub. - I previously had et35 plus a 12mm spaced, and now have et 23 on oem M3 wheels with no issue. Out front 8.5 et 30-33 should be flush (or close to it) without issues. I had 235/35 without issue. If you have LCI, the rear specs are different as they have a wider track and et23 won't fit.
