Very good find! I got my locally for about $360. Having them shipped to my my door for $300 is a lot better.

I bought my E90 M3 Front Control Arm (upgrade) kit from FCP, and it included the light leveling rod. Paid a little more, but not much more...

I have done half a dozen including my own and reused the existing leveling rod. Couple of years later and zero complaints. With all due respect, I know is only $20 but if someone is not able to make it work with out it then they should not be doing the intallation to begin with.

I don't necessarily agree with skipping on the leveling rod. the non-m clips on the control arm however the m version bolts on. keep in mind even your local dealer will have the rod for around $15-20 so you don't have to it shipped.

I have bought the arms before and the aluminum bolts that need to be replaced are provided by TRW anyways.

the actual arms are really competitively priced.

Nice, I was just getting ready to order some. What do you guys think about getting the M3 rear arms as well? Are they really necessary? The rear set is even more than the fronts.....

That's where I was going to buy them but fcp is 20 bucks cheaper, more with the coupon it looks like.....every little bit helps, fcp may have the rears cheaper as well, just haven't found them yet.

Hmm, it looks like the rears are cheaper from offset, $410 as opposed to 416... also, if you bought the fronts and rears separately from fcp, it would be cheaper than getting the whole set.....300 + 416 = 716 and the set is $745...that sucks, you should get a break with the set, instead they are charging more
nvermind, I think the $300 rate doesn't include the headlight leveler

Is this kit also known as tension rod? Could one say it comes with a pair of wishbones, & tension rods? Instead of calling it a control arm kit?

I am asking because my e92 335i has bad thrust arm bushings, and instead of replacing the bushing I thought about just buying m3 parts....

My next question is if this is a thrust arms in this kit, does it come with new bolts as you can't reuse the old bolts per the helms manual.

Yeah that kit comes with the 4 upgraded M3 arms (thrust and tension) that you would need. I think they come with a couple nuts but I'm getting this part number as well which gets you all the new hardware that you will need: search for this part no. KIT-31106763928KT. It's like 40 bucks for piece of mind i guess....edit, make sure that kit is for the front arms, there is a kit for the rear arms also....pretty sure that's right though
