I have done half a dozen including my own and reused the existing leveling rod. Couple of years later and zero complaints. With all due respect, I know is only $20 but if someone is not able to make it work with out it then they should not be doing the intallation to begin with.

I don't necessarily agree with skipping on the leveling rod. the non-m clips on the control arm however the m version bolts on. keep in mind even your local dealer will have the rod for around $15-20 so you don't have to it shipped.
I have bought the arms before and the aluminum bolts that need to be replaced are provided by TRW anyways. the actual arms are really competitively priced. |

Nice, I was just getting ready to order some. What do you guys think about getting the M3 rear arms as well? Are they really necessary? The rear set is even more than the fronts.....

I am asking because my e92 335i has bad thrust arm bushings, and instead of replacing the bushing I thought about just buying m3 parts.... My next question is if this is a thrust arms in this kit, does it come with new bolts as you can't reuse the old bolts per the helms manual. |
