FS: Dinan Stage 2 Tune (1 week old)

Dinan just sent me a brand new stage 2 full kit and I have had it on the car for a week. I am planning to throw on DPs and race gas, etc so I am going a different way. This tune sells for $2750. I am asking for $1499 for the entire kit (you have to figure out the warranty transfer with dinan) but nobody has ever had a warranty issue with this tune.

Stage 2 (DINANTRONICS? Performance Tuner Maximum Power: 530 HP, 504 lb-ft of torque

Please send me a message if interested. This is an amazing deal for a great tune that keeps the stock M feel on the car with a great addition in linear HP and TQ and much better throttle response.

Just a few questions Do you have paperwork? Wondering is this a replacement from the one you had before? Noticed that you had posted previously about selling one of these a month back. Which dealer did you have install the tune. I am interested. Thanks.

Pad, you were able to self install? Did Dinan confirm you can just sell this with the warranty etc.?

No BMW did it for me. I would sell it as is for about $1500 less than it costs new and you would go through dinan to give them your VIN and they would transfer the warranty for a fee. But I paid $2799 and I'm asking only $1250.

Seems like a great deal, but the biggest downside is that Dinan will not transfer the warranty to another car. Same car different owner they will transfer, just not between cars. (Finally got a response from them).

If you guys are local, McKenna will do your install for about $220 if you do not want to DIY it.

Yes but the tune itself is superior in quality to others that cost around 900-1100 and Dinan tunes have never had any issues causing engine damage or limp mode. I haven't seen one issue in years. So even without the warranty this is a great deal. I paid $2700 for this and it's almost brand new.

It's on my M4 right now but would take an hour to be ready to ship.

I was willing to offer you full price because its a great deal at $1499 but I just did some quick research on the fee Dinan charges to clear the tune and transfer the VIN to a new car it comes out to $800! and your asking $1500 so this would cost $2,300 in reality, Which is still $400 less than purchasing a brand new one from Dinan my only concern is the warranty issue, I know Dinan has a great reputation for having no issues but I would still like to know I have that warrantee for my own piece of mind. If you can make sure that this will still be covered under their warranty, ill give you your full asking price. I'm In Los Angeles so I could come pick it up this week Let me know, thanks!

Hey there. I'll actually be in La this weekend. I know for sure Dinan will cover the warranty once you pay the transfer fee. It costs $2799 for stage 2, so either way you would get an amazing deal.
