is there a gearbox adaptation reset for F82/F83 dual clutch

I have a 2015 M4 with the dct transmission. On my E92 335i there was the turn ignition on, foot to floor for x time, then start procedure which seemed to reset the transmission adaptation. Is there any manual procedure for the current m3/m4's?

I am pretty sure there are adaptions that can be reset. On my 135i DCT I asked the dealer twice to clear the adaptions and the trans was much better.

I thought the dealers were able to do it. It would be nice to do it ourselves when and if we felt the need. Might have to drive it harder. Lol

There is a risky way. You can see if you can buy INPA or a similar BMW diagnostic tool to reset the adaptations. It is very risky though!

I'm curious about this adaptation thing. I would not think that it occurs on a M3 given there are different modes on the transmission? You want faster/more aggressive shifts, you just select the more aggressive mode.

Killing me but search the forum as there was a post on this in not too recent past and someone had a sequence worked out - sorry simply can't recall right now!
