How much is it for a custom individual color?

I'm looking into getting a Fire Orange F80 and on the US side I know it's 5k but what about the price for it in Canada? Thanks.

Depends on the color. Pure metal silver is the most at apx 10k. Others can be as cheap as 2k.

wow. you guys got way too much $ to spend on color.

Think about it, even if you had it done, after a year or so, you could care less of the color anymore and most likely will have regret paying for it.

To me not really. I always wanted a flashy sports car and I feel with the colors that come with it are not flashy enough. This will be my daily and my sports car and I'm young so I want that attention doe

There are at least two on autotrader. Do a search.

I was searching on the Canadian one.

Looking at the US one won't give me a idea of how much it is in Canada.

As Ragazzi said, the starting price for a non-standard individual colour is 6k in Canada, but it can vary. You'll have to talk to the dealer to know for certain what price they can get it for. I would budget for 6k, and if it comes in lower consider it a bonus.

If you want attention. Then get a killer complete exhaust setup and if that's not enough, then a set of 20 or 21" HRE or BBS wheels.

I am sure you already know wrapping it would be half the cost and you can change color every season too

Was already going with the BMW M Performance exhaust, with the carbon tips.

For the color, well you're right, I could wrap... but then again, I don't know. Wouldn't a solid pain color be more quality and longer lasting? Also, won't get mettalic look of a paint.

the wrap should last about 2-3 yrs time, depends on how much care you do on the film. If the job is done right, you cannot even tell the car is wrapped at all (at least by looking).

If you are getting this special paint color from factory, I am sure you will want to PPF the entire car too (that's probably in the range of $3000). You sure don't want to see any rock chips on the paint as there will be no touch up paint pen out there.

^ you are in Quebec ... tons of snow ... and the worst of all, road grimes, salt, sand and rocks are going to do a number on your entire front ends. Better get those headlights wrapped (PPF) as well.

If you drive lots of highways, the front end will be like being sandblasted and you will see the 'pitting' on the headlights when spring comes.

Heard those dealership paint protectant are quite over rated and not needed. I tend to do my own paint care applying some sealant and wax on a quite regular basis, read a lot about auto detailing.

I mean, I am pretty sure some people don't have PPF and live in Quebec and their car is pretty good. My dad has a 11 year Gold/Bronze Hyundai Santa fee and the only thing he had on his paint is slight rust, only on the side pannel.

SMB would be the perfect color for me but it'd make me so mad if BMW decided to make it part of the regular series the year after I order mine lol
