How to tell if OE springs need to be replaced
Hi All:
I tried searching but cant seem to find the specifics that I am looking for. I am planning to refresh my struts/shocks to KONI's, but I am not sure if I need to replace my springs or not. I have checked and from a visual inspection I dont see any issues with them. But I am not sure, hence the question: How do I know if I need to change the springs? e92 335i with 90K on it. Thanks. |

If it isn't broken, don't fix it. Really, springs need to be replaced when they break. If you want a bit firmer ride new springs may help when you swap the shocks and struts but normally they are not needed.
