USB connection to iPod
I ordered the latest iPod Nano and plugged it into the USB in my 335i xDrive 2015 and it said "Not supported".
Then, I tried plugging in a older Nano (3-4 year old, without Bluetooth) and it also said "Not supported". This troublesome behavior is reducing the joy of ownership very quickly. I had no such issues with my old 2009 335i nor my Accord. Any ideas? |

Yes, authentic iPod Nano, the latest (7th generation).
The manual did mention about some syncing needed but it was vague about the time needed for the file folder metadata to arrive at the car's CPU. I did not experience this in the old 2009 335i. Anyway, the issue is moot now. I love the Harmon Kardon system. It's the best HiFi system I have used in a car. Had it in my 2009 335i and never turn back. |
