Hi

My brother had some battery issue on his car

And the module fried no interior lights
No comfort accses

We found a used module from an E90 335i
And want to make sure if it will work or not

The picture attached is the fried one from the car.

The one from the 335i part number is

Any input will be appreciated

Thanks

In my experience used FRM modules are often faulty. But you can try and see. Was your old FRM FRM3? If so 61359128184 is for FRM1 or FRMFA. You should look for a direct replacement. Are you 100% sure it's bricked?

You will need to recode the module for you car. The proper way would be to write your VO to it from CAS module. Code to default and Correct dates etc etc

There are many threads on this already.
