Talk me out of it: E92 328i H&R Sport Springs in SF

Now that my list of mods is coming to an end, I'm still considering getting a set of H&R Sport Springs for my 2012 E92 328i to reduce that unsightly OEM wheel gap a bit.

Sounds like that kit is going to do just that, with about 1 inch of difference from stock.

I have 12mm spacers all around on 313s (ET37/39 IIRC), which is on the conservative side and works fine with the stock springs and no rubbing.

So, two questions (or just talk me out of it):
  • Anyone here that has this specific set-up: Did you experience rubbing, and did you have to roll fenders or use smaller spacers?
  • But more importantly, anyone in the Bay Area: Do you have this specific set-up without having regretted it for all the scratching and scraping?

You won't regret it.

Install springs first. Then properly measure for spacer's needed.

As far as looks, I'm sure I wont regret those - I'm more curious about whether I'll regret the scraping in and out of the driveways here in SF

I just installed H&R Sport Springs on my E92 and I have to get adjustable toe arms. My Toe is stuck at 1.09 degrees. .

On another note, I'm on 19's with 265's in the rear and no rubbing.

You do need to be careful about scraping.
I just got koni yellows and h&r sport installed and it's bouncy and low. But it does look good though.
I'll prob. Go back to stock sport soon.

You might want to wait for the struts to break in, and/or ditch the H&R springs for Eibach or Performance.
