335D M-sport supension upgrade
Hi guys,
Have a few questions, cause I'm not clear on a few things. My Msport D has 45k miles on it, and besides the RFT's I think the ride is pretty good, but I cant stand the bouncing and side wallowing that occurs over bumps. I do not want the car any lower, as I think it is low enough. My questions are: 1) Are the M-sport springs the same springs as the Sport springs? 2) If so, than I guess I could use my M sport springs with say, Koni yellows? 3) I was thinking about getting the B12 kit, but now it seems they are hard to get now. So my only options are, Koni's??? or are there other bilsteins that could work with my M sport springs? I dont want to go down the coilover route, not a big fan. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks |

Your MSport springs are the same as on a regular sport package. If you do not want to lower then Koni Sports are a good combination with your springs. BMW Performance yellow springs are another option. They are a bit stiffer and lower about 10mm from sport. If you want to eliminate the wallowing feeling then start looking into replacing your subframe bushings. Lots of options there. And also the newly discovered and very cost effective rear upper shock mounts from Monroe. There is s thread in this subforum on that.
