Whose got the fastest 335 in here? (in Straya)

Hi Guys,

Seeing alot of cray cray mods going on. wondering whose got the most powerful 335 here. dyno numbers n54 or n55.

I know there can be variations for dyno numbers but just modest numbers.

Are you looking for dyno number or time slips?

There is a dyno thread on 1addicts.. the leader is at 576whp with a single turbo conversion N54 iirc

There is no replacement for dis..... ahem....petrol.

Diesels are not meant to make high HP numbers. Good luck with trying to surpass even 300hp with the 320d.

Challenge accepted. I just need more moolah, and then things can go underway.

Do I get a prize after?

No.

You'll realise at the end that you should have saved your $$... waited for your full lisc, and bought a 335 instead.. and still have $$ left over.

In a simplistic view, HP is a function of torque and rpm. You will need to get your peak rpm up and extend/shift the torque curve further up the rpm, which may/will make your diesel un-drivable day to day. All this out from a 2lit diesel engine. Good luck with that.

Frankly speaking, save your $$ and get a proper base to work on. Just my 0.5 cents worth.

There's a guy with a E92 M3 who's doing low 10's in the USA!

Not many M3's are setup like that I must admit
