Best/Cheapest place to buy replacement speakers

Can anyone recommend best/cheapest place to buy replacement speakers ?, from the prices I've seen so far i may as well buy the stage 1 kit from bavsound and replace them all. The speaker in question is actually for my newly acquired E70 4.8l which has 12 speaker HiFi but I think (without doing mush research) they have similar speakers to the E90.

If I'm getting the stage 1 for the E70 I may also upgrade the E90 premium HiFi at the same time, has anyone used bavsound in their car ?

Also is the phone / bluetooth a separate speaker ? The drivers door speaker is the one that crackles badly that requires replacement and the same happens while using the phone.

Thanks in Advance

Dyll

I got some jbl coax I think for about $79 pair, they are much better than the stock, but you will need to cut a tab as the stock has 3 tabs and most aftermarket has four.

search for it there should be plenty of info, including diy.

bluetooth runs through the same amp/speakers, I think it distributes it more to one (driver) than the others.

I bought some Yallah Speakers a while ago from yallahsound.com but they went bust. Shame as they were damn great speakers and fair in price.

I'm in the same boat, except have an e90 with the base stereo so I'd need a whole bunch of stuff to get it sounding great. For now I'll just sing to myself.

Thanks XIX I would be happy with a OEM replacement for the time being, best I found on the net was around $200 delivered for a single speaker.

Any 4" coax will be fine. if you search the forums you will find heaps of options.

We just walked into the store and bout a mid level set (anything between $60 - $100) as that is all the amp will be able to power anyway.

you will find it to be cleaner in the mid and much crisper treble.

No Probs, check the diy as well as it will make it much easier to do (gives you clear instructions for the door covers etc)

Post a bit of feedback as well, I'd love to know your thoughts on how it sounds compared to stock
