Hi Guys,

Anyone know if the Oil filter housing for the n54 are interchangable?

Part number of my one is 7562942.

Anyone know if any n54 housing will fit? I have noticed some items with revisions.

also if anyone knew hot to take the hose off the oil filter housing. Scared to break the plastic bits on there.

see my reply to your other post, there is no easy way to save those water pipes from imminent death.

Have you tried checking the part numbers on:

http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/

You might find they both have the same part #.
