Adjusting the cornering lights?

Is it possible to adjust the cornering lights? Right now they both almost point straight ahead - they are almost useless as cornering lights.

..And is it possible to code the CIC so you can turn it on and off from the idrive?

Pre-LCI adaptive bi-xenon does not have cornering lights. The inner lights are the flash to pass high beams.

Yes, but changing the builddate and coding NFRM will make them cornering lights on a non-LCI. Problem is that they do not help with cornering at all since the point almost directly forwards. Is it possible to ajust them, or should I rewire them to my fogs - so they will function as cornering lights?

You'd high beam others while turning. Example at a yield light, you're turning left then all of a sudden the driver in front gets blasted with a flash. I don't think that's a good idea. If you wire them to the fogs, wouldn't it be easier to just drive around with your fog lights on?

In LCI you can code your fog lights to be cornering lights. If you had managed to somehow make your brights do that functions, can you look at fog light coding option?

Ahh good point, I'll try that!

Do you, by any chance, remember the option?

No, you cant adjust the direction of the beam. They're high beams so they're designed to point straight ahead. You need FRM3 to code fogs as cornering lights, but even then fogs are designed to light up the foreground so they won't work very well as cornering lights.

If you want true cornering light functionality you have to retrofit the complete LCI adaptive xenon headlights.
