Headlight Advice - E90 M Sport

Hey Guys,

I know there are lots of threads; I have spent hours looking through. I was just wondering if anyone has an experience with 2010-2011 E90 LCI Halogen headlight upgrades.

As pictured; I currently have stock Halogen + Angel Eyes headlights and was wanting the Xenon look. Would H8 V5's as the angel eyes and some bog standard H8's for the main beam be sufficient?

Thanks in advance.

I replaced my highs and lows with Philips Diamond Vision H7 bulbs, and my angel eyes with Lux Haogen LCI v2.

Compared to stock:

What exactly do you mean by "wanting the Xenon look"?

Thanks for your replies. Ruddiger you have the same units as me which is great. I wonder if using H8 V5's would be better as the V2's seem a little on the light side?

@fravel - Bright white with increased road viability rather than the yellow halogens.

Thanks guys.

I dont think those v5's you're talking about work with the Halogen lights that you have.

Also, my angel eyes are more pure white, and my headlights are more blue-white, which may be why you think the v2 arent bright enough. You can use different headlight bulbs for a more matching look.

How difficult is the lux and hi/low beam bulb install?

I found them pretty simple. The angel eyes were the hardest, you should remove your wheel and inner fender liner and do all 3 at once.
