Bilstein sports shocks with stock springs

Hi guys, just wandering if anybody here tried using the stocks Bmw 335i springs with bilstein sports shocks B8? your experience please..

if they are oem sport package springs you can use the B6 or B8 dampers. If you have oem non-sport springs you use the B6 dampers.

I'm pretty sure that the B8's are just B6's with shorter shock bodies. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

I've got B8 with stock sports package springs on E92. Much better over bumps but I don't feel that the car handles much better than stock. Not that it matters to me because I got them for bilstein's reputation for build quality, and my prior experience with them on my last car. - hopefully they'll be more reliable, consistent than stock shocks, and I needed the car to take bumps and potholes better, which it does now. I've never tried the B6 shocks so I can't compare though.

thanks bro for the info. cause im going to try the b8's on my stock sports springs. ill let u know how it goes. thanks
