Exclamation BMWhat killed my Angel Eyes, help?

I got some guy off craigslist to do some coding on my 2007 ( JAN Build) 335i. A few of the codes he said he could do didn't work for my car, one being the one to brighten angel eyes. I have aftermarket LED angel eyes which worked fine before he tried to code them, he tried to get them turned back on by going back to stock settings and restarting the car. Nothing worked, all they did was slightly flicker at first, but didn't stay on.
I was wondering if this is a common occurrence, and if so, what should I do? Try recoding, change a fuse, change the bulbs, etc.

THANKS

PS, any advice on a flash tunes for JAN builds would be greatly appreciated.

I think so. He said he tried to increase the voltage to make the AEs brighter.

Lesson #1, wouldn't recommend hiring coders from Craigslist.

If he did in fact reset it back to factory defaults and just tried increasing the voltage, he must also turn off the light checks. If they are flickering, that means the bulbs aren't getting enough voltage from the FRM.

honestly, no idea

I'm rocking stock because I prefer the sleeper look, my driving attracts enough attention as it is, don't need anymore tickets

I would make sure the AEs are properly coded before I spent any more money. Just my opinion...

Before you think about spending more money on angel eyes or ballasts, find an experience e92 coder to reset all modules on your car. Once your car is reset and they still do not work, he must've fried something in your headlight(bulb, ballast, wires, I'm not sure). Where are you located? I'm sure you can find a local BMW Indy shop that knows how to code or worst case, take it to the dealer and have them reset it.

Bmwhat is an application used for coding, there is no coding experience needed as you just plug it in and choose the options. NCSExpert is a program where you can actually code modules. Did the guy on Craigslist use BMWhat?

I believe my FRM module was stuck in boot load mode because of BMWhat as well.
FRM module had to be replaced under warranty because it was fried.
None of my electrical systems were working.
If you were to get any coding done, use NCSExpert.
