Fan not always working on E92
So I noticed a while back that my AC mostly in the summer time wasn't working correctly. The fan wouldn't work, bought a new fan however the old one magically started working again. Then stopped, long story short I replaced it and everything worked good for about a month.
When replacing the fan the other part that connects to it which didn't come with the replacement seemed a bit burnt my guess is something is wrong with it but I'm unsure what part it would be. Hitting under near that location however kicks it on sometimes takes a hit or two with my hand however with winter coming up I'd rather fix it for good. Anyone know the part I'm talking about or know why it works and doesn't. Thanks! |

Its the final stage unit (FSU) which was probably causing your issue to begin with. If its burnt be prepared to replace the connector as well. Mine was working intermittently because the wires had the insulation melt and were shorting out. Connector had melted stuck to the FSU and I to break the FSU around the connector to get it off. Long story short needed new connector and FSU. Not an isolated incident either. Look at the fan replacement DIY. Has happened to many.
