next event coming up is the track day on Sunday 29th November for Melbourne peeps.

Should be a great turnout with a good number of people already in.
We've recently had an awesome cruise day event and a meet and coding session with a great gathering.

Final reminder that the melbourne track day is on this Sunday 29th of November.
A good number of bimmer boys will be attending including a few M cars, and anyone interested is welcome.

Damn!! I've been overseas but will definitely be at the next one!! Can anyone tell me who organises it? Is it a club day or just open to anyone?

Most of these events are open to the public (it's normally stated on the posted thread) so good chance to meet others and come for out for fun. Private events are usually from the Bmw car club of Australia, and require membership to join in on events. A few guys on the forum are part of the club, and sometimes these clubs hold events that are open to all.

So far within the last month, there has been a "cruise day" (4hour cruise along the winery region of Victoria), a "meet and coding session", and a "track day event". I attended all of them (One of them I organised and helped out with the other one). They're a blast.
I post up photos of the event to show others who are to shy to come out, so they get a feel of what these events are all about. You don't need to know anyone, or drive the best top spec bmw to come along. We're all just ordinary folks with daily jobs, that are bmw enthusiasts, who wanna take a break away from our everyday lives and come out for some fun.

Next coming events will be early next year (after Xmas and new year break where most people go on holidays). I'll post up info when the next one is organised.
