What's missing from my trunk?

So I purchased a 2011 335i xdrive a couple weeks ago and notice some items are missing in the trunk. I want to ask the dealer to supply then for me, but I don't know what exactly is missing. Any input would be appreciated. Pics would be helpful also. Thanks in advance.

What you have in your tool kit is pretty standard; what is missing is the sunroof allen wrench, an open-end wrench (10MM / 11MM), and a wheel lock socket.

Not truly 'missing', but actually 'deliberately OMITTED' by BMW from the standard accessories included with 2011 model year, yet which still are referenced by the owner manual!

That indentation in the lid lining is for the emergency triangle, which is mandatory in Europe...they even include one when you take factory delivery in Germany and then remove it when you drop off the car for shipment to the States.

The jumper cables seem to be courtesy of the prior owner...BMW never includes that.

If you go to the dealer, they will put and stocked items on the counter and then tell your how much you owe them for the items.

Thanks for the info and humor. So a jack or lug wrench aren't standard?

you have run flats, no need for a jack or lug wrench. why would they give you those things without a spare tire?

What if your tire is destroyed? I used to drive a lot and I've been in a situation twice where it was much faster, cheaper, and easier to remove the wheel, take it to a shop for repair, and reinstall vs waiting for a tow truck.

That's what dealers and cell phones are for. Spare tires are so 2005.

Stop using logic to win and argument. No guns in this knife fight. Tires never get destroyed because the Germans at BMW headquarters say so, GOT IT!

...fyi - I have a compact spare, jack, lug wrench, wheel chock, and plug kit in my trunk. It doesn't take up that much room. Floor height isn't the limiting factor in the trunk anyway, its' overall width and depth.

There is optional jack set from BMW if you pay for it:

https://www.ecstuning.com/ES2530819/...FYc7gQodEkICiw

I have one, bought years ago. Mine has the torque wrench set at 130 Nm. The spec for the E90 is 120 Nm. Not much different though 10%. It is a quality set, billstein made I believe.

Your missing the set of manuals that come in black leather bound book. Missing the sunroof manual closer crank and 10MM wrench as said previously. You do have a few extra trim screws...

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

I have put 100K plus on non run flats for two different bmws without having to resort to my emergency inflator/sealer that I carry in my car. I'm religious about checking my tire pressure every week. If there is a problem, I get it fixed quickly. Great non-runflat tires are superior to the OEM versions provided. Even 2nd and 3rd generation RFTs while improved are still inferior to non run flats. You don't need all that extra equipment with the weight that it provides daily to your mpg. Granted nothing is certain, so running without run flats and huge backup equipment isn't necessary. However, if you choose to go cheap on your non run flats, then my previous advice is null and void. Get solid, high quality non run flats and you'll never look back.
