eBay Front Splitters
Anyone here given these a try? I have a non-M tech bumper and I'm looking at perhaps adding these on to refresh my car a bit.
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/371268811985?...84.m1436.l2649 They seem to be decently priced and the vendor claims they match OE paint. The shipping is extremely low too so it almost seems to good to be true. There's lots and lots of positive reviews on eBay but I have serious eBay trust issues. I have these, the color is bang on but the fit is not exactly precise. Passenger side fit well but the drivers side splitter was a little off. I'm still happy with them.

i have these from emotors2000 (more than likely all the same) and the paint is spot on but cheaply done. i would recommend you wrap them in 3m clear vinyl protectant film. mine are all chipped up. When you install i would start from the wheel well opening and basically hook them in place and work your way around to the front. i know what willskillz is talking about and just holding mine in place i see what he means but i was able to get it to fit perfect starting from the wheel and around.
you can actually see the poor fitment in the seller's pictures

Darn it, well I was hoping they'd be a perfect fit or at least the paint would be higher quality. They're cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. Are there any other options you guys might be familiar with?
Do you happen to have a picture with them installed? I might invest into these so long as they don't dangle off as I'm driving. |

I ordered splitters (pre-LCI) and although they aren't a perfect fit, the paint is pretty on point. I would highly recommend that any splitters you get from ebay be wrapped in some type of vinyl protectant as my first set only lasted a couple of months before the rock chips were unbearably noticeable. Overall, a pretty good product for the price you pay |

Thanks for the other suggestions guys, going to think about the emotors2000 ones then and I'll definitely wrap them with clear vinyl. |
