Umnitza w/fx-r
Hey guys, I'm new around here. I've been lurking for a little while but I finally installed my Depo lights with the fx-r upgrade and I wanted to share some pics. I'm not sure if umnitza really stepped their game up, or if they were just getting a bad rap from haters. I've read tons of mixed reviews about quality and craftsmanship but this set of lights I put in yesterday went extremely smooth. They are definitely brighter than my gf 2015 5er and the cutoff is way sharper too. They're a little blue, but bulbs can be swapped if it really bothers me. Only thing I'm not 100% with is the Orion v2. There seems to be one led missing at the bottom, where the wires are ran, but these things are stupid bright. And it's still way better than halogens! Much to my surprise, no errors either. Overall, seems like a good product and the price was less than half of oem. I'm happy, I guess that's all I really care about lol.

It's def not level, but I'm aware that the original fx-r had the sloping issue. The pic isn't the greatest either. I marked the fence in my driveway and had my girl pull her car into the same spot/distance from projector and it lined up almost exactly. I was worried about the height but it's only a half inch higher than her car which has auto level in it

I'm not a lighting expert, is that something I can fix with the adjustment screws or does that mean the actual projector lens is rotated slightly?
Eta: when you say "known for that" do you mean Depo or umnitza? |

No the actual projector is rotated several degree. You would have to open the headlight up to modify. Its tedious work. |

I took this a little while ago. Does that seem better? I'm not unhappy with them at all. My buddy has a 2015 Chrysler 300 and my lights are brighter and cutoff is way sharper. I'm actually very impressed with the way it looks. As far as opening the headlights and rotating the projector, I'll ship these things back to umnitza before I even think about doing it myself!

Like I said, I'm happy with the way it looks and functions. Some coding and I'll be even more happy. Thanks for the input tho, I'm new to the e90 and this is my first set of pj lights on any car.
