Radiator Leak?

I have a 2011 328i and I smell coolant near the top of my radiator one the car has been driven for a while. There appear to be two little notches that look like vents, maybe 1/2 inch in width on either side of the top of the radiator that have what looks like dried fluid weeping from them. Is this a sign that my radiator is leaking somewhere? My coolant level is fine, so if I'm loosing some its very slow. Is there a common leak in the e90 radiator that I can look for?
