As far as I know, 771 is the 428i M Performance exhaust. 340 is the US Spec M Performance exhaust for 335/435 and 339 is the Euro part number. Apparently the 340 has a more aggressive sound than the 339, thus it is the more sought after part.

I dont know much about the f30 especially with the new engine in the 340i. But will this exhaust bolt up fine to a 2016 340i?

Honestly not sure if it will fit the 340. Not sure why it would not.
