Hexon RR600 introductory offer/GB

Hey guys,

I'm organising a GB for Hexon's RR600 turbochargers in association with Wayne@Hexon Autowerks and Advan performance.

Current retail pricing is $2,350 USD + a $500 USD core charge + international shipping costs of $175 USD one way + Customs import duties/taxes if applicable.

Hexon currently have an introductory sales offer on the 600's that will expire on the 4th of December.

However the GB offer will see the into price of $2,115 USD continued to the 18th of December if we obtain a minimum of 3 interested parties, I will also cover the $500 USD core charge and arrange for return shipping of the turbo cores back to Hexon in Taiwan.

However the customer will be required to ship his OEM turbos back to Advan performance in Sydney once the Hexon's have been installed.

Total to pay excluding an OEM turbo install kit and a modified compressor discharge pipe is,

$3,399 AUD

The turbo install kit will cost $329 and the modded compressor pipe aka hot-side chargepipe will cost $229 on a core exchange basis.

For those guys that are not familiar with Hexon turbos here is a link to their facebook page.

https://www.facebook.com/HexonRR/?fref=ts

Also for anyone interested in Hexon's warranty terms, I can tell you they provide a 12 month/unlimited kilometre warranty. Should a warranty claim be necessary Hexon will supply a replacement pair of turbos in advance prior to the turbos in question being removed from the vehicle. They will also cover the shipping costs both ways. I can tell you that this is NOT the industry norm and shows that they believe in the reliability of their product and if there is a problem they will stand behind it.

Cheers,

Justin.

Hey Mate,

I'll check with Wayne and see if he has a set of 600's in stock ready to ship.

The install cost would be $1,500@Advan + $329 for an OEM turbo install kit and around $175 (could be less, I need to clarify) for 6.5 litres of 5w-40 Liqui Moly engine oil, OEM oil filter and the necessary amount of BMW antifreeze/coolant.

Hi Justin. Is this price delivered to my door? I noticed Hexon's international shipping is $130US and not $175US as above mentioned?

Hey mate,

I will double check this with Wayne, but the shipping quote I was supplied was specifically for shipment via DHL as I only use DHL or FedEx for the importing of turbochargers due to the substantial dollar value attached to the item. I simply do not have the same level of trust in UPS, EMS or USPS for that matter.

Yes, as part of the introductory offer/GB I will be shipping all sets to the customers door via Couriers Please who are very reliable and provide excellent online tracking capability. :-)

Cheers,

J.

Yes I can supply a tax invoice, but there is no GST to pay as I'm a sole trader who is NOT registered for GST, however I have an ABN.

Hey Justin, question for you : )
Currently with stock turbo's my hpfp can only handle E50 (fitted a new pump and still only capable of E50).
If i was to go the RR600's, i would have to taper back my E85 mix due to increased airflow correct?
I would be gaining HP from bigger turbo's, but loosing a few ponies from lower E85 content.
Im trying to avoid port injection costs..
Would 500-525rwhp be a fair number without going PI and say a E30 mix?

I would say you would have to reduce your mixture. Look into throttle body injection by fuel it. Looks piss easy too install and cheap. If your keen we can get 2x sets and split shipping maybe.

This seems like a good deal from JD. The wheel specs are nice also. With that warranty in mind I think these will do really well.

I would 2nd the use of a Fuel-It TBI kit, for those guys that don't mind blending a lower % of Ethanol it's somewhat more cost effective than an out and out MOTIV PI kit.

I'm the Aus distributor for Fuel-It products, so if anyone needs pricing on TBI kits please let me know.

Hmmm, it's hard to say how far the stock fuel system will go from a whp perspective, as it depends on several factors namely your AFR targets, the Ethanol blend % and how much boost you want to run though the midrange where the HPFP pump speed is slow and subsequently fuel supply is limited until engine speed climbs.

100% E85 on PI kicks arse but you are right it's not particularly cheap.

Please consider the new range of TBI systems from Fuel-It as a cost effective alternative to PI if you don't mind blending Ethanol and are not looking for a maximum power setup.

Cheers,

J.

Yeah its funny hey. My hpfp was the original, 8yrs old, could only run E50 mix. I bought a brand new hpfp and the most i could still run is E50!
Im happy with that mix anyway as i dont drive my car often, if i ran strait E85 i would be concerned about the jelly buildup in the fuel tank

Nulon have a new product out for E85

http://www.nulon.com.au/products/Fue...Fuel_Treatment

Kinda expensive, but i think i might start using it as my car sits for a few months without driving (i start it and let it idle every few weeks)

What Fuel it TBI system would you recommend with these turbos JD?

Would a stage 2 LPFP suffice, or would it be advisable to upgrade to a stage 3?

A bronze version of the FuelIt TBI is $830aud, no import duties which is nice. I thought that the TBI kits were pushing there limits with 500-530rwhp? 600rwhp is a good stretch if this is the case.
Are you sure he wasnt running Port Injection?
