M2 Individual
We have all seen examples of the 1M in Java Green.
My question is, what does it takes to get it there? I know it's not part of the program, especially as its in the Leipzig production plant. But I'm sure many of us want to explore the possibilities. I don't think throwing money at it will solve the problem. |

The Java Green one was a one shot being one of the last ones to be produced. |

In Canada we have a ZSP code for special orders. My SA says we can order moonroof and potentially even individual paint.
The caveat is that it costs $400, and no guarantee they'll say yes. And if they do, you have to pay whatever insane additional cost they charge you. |

I don't think there is any chance of a individual paint option for the M2. The reason has to do with the paint shop where this car is built. Short of them doing a major overhaul of the paint shop it isn't possible to do individual colors. What we have to hope for is an expansion of color options to mix things up a bit.

You could always try dip (not a fan of plastidip , but this one looks pretty good)

Think the most simplest solution would be ! Buy the Alpine White M2 (Standard no extra cost) Sens White is a great foundation color to put anything on specially considering its a "Solid" color and not "Metallic" then buy any wrap you find fitting for you and wrap it the cost would be about the same as getting it done in the factory i guess :-)

1. You need to know someone high up at BMW.
2. You have to pay alot of $$$ Both required. There were 10 or so specialized that came off the line. The public only saw two of them (officially). They could technically use any color in the plant without affecting production for the M2, they just chose to limit it to those three. You can actually put in an individual request for any car, but they'll send back a refusal right away for the M2. Last edited by PackPride85; 03-18-2016 at 06:30 AM.. |

I tried for weeks to get manual seats on a US car and they wouldn't do that. The SA and manager emailed and called various people at BMW. No changes or substitutions. They just won't change the assembly process on our cars at all.
