Non comfort access key fob battery died
Hi guys, has anyone ordered a non comfort access pre lci key from bmw?
They seem to cost $400-$600! Does anyone know alternatives to this? Cheers |

You should be able to just replace the battery by cracking the key open and soldering a new battery on it. Its a VL2020 rechargeable battery available from ebay.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...21&postcount=3 If you end up scuffing up the fob by disassembling it you can also buy a new plastic key casing to make it look new. Replacing lost keys with brand new are a pain in ass, you need a programming setup to write to the key and the CAS module or get shafted from the dealer
