Installation of Rear VTT Inlet

I was wondering whether any of you guys who have installed these inlets have any tips for getting the rear inlet installed. In the installation guide, it simply states push it up from underneath the car and then pull it from the top into place. That sounds simple and only takes a couple to seconds to say but I have spent 1.5hrs without success because of the two outlets for the diverter valve and PCV getting jammed every where. Any tips would be helpful.

With your car Socket, this would have been an easier job as you had the turbos replaced at the same time. With the rear turbo out, there is a lot more room to remove the OEM inlet and install the VTT inlet.

Task of installing the rear VTT inlet completed using the Brule DIY method. Worked like a charm.

Did you follow Brule's method step by step, or just use it as a rough guide?

I just taped up the turbo end of the VTT inlet and pushed it down from the top. A bit of a pull from the bottom and a push from the top and it was there.

Not yet Shane. I still have to install the downpipes, exhaust and modified OEM intake. As I will be watching the V8 Supercar races on TV over the weekend, it will be next week before I get it going. I will then have to run in the new upgraded RVO transmission before I get up it.

I purchased an upgraded transmission with a higher stall torque convertor from RVO Transmissions in Melbourne.
