Port, Carols, Mince Pies and Tinsel

Well today is tree up day, so officially Christmas in the Brigand household.

Plenty tinsel and baubles and a happy looking tree

Also opened a rather nice bottle of Taylor's Port and some of M&S finest mince pies, with carols playing upstairs and down stairs on the Sonos.

So to all forum members and their respective families, a joyous Christmas to one and all.

Merry Christmas all you lot.

Hardly seems worth it for 8 days. Put up our tree and decorations yesterday aided by Elf on the TV and mulled wine

Have moved house a few times over Christmas, I don't envy you.

However it's great just getting sorted in time for the 25th.

Had one year with Acroprops in the living room and tinsel around them

Hopefully no more moves here for a while, 2012 was 3 house moves arghh lol.

Merry Christmas and good luck with the move.

Haha, with her mother watching, probably not much!

Proper grumpy old woman that one

OH been told if she has any ideas of turning into her mother as time goes on, she will be doing it without me!

The decorations went up this weekend, theme is green and gold this year (gives her something to do!)

I like the house at Christmas it's old and dark and always feels inviting with the lights this time of the year, plus as it's dark I can ignore all the cracks and issues!

Didn't used to be Scrooge, but in this commercialism modern era where I get xmas rammed down my throat for 3 months prior it can kiss my ass.

12 days of Xmas.

Then next year my lad is 2.5 and that sentiment will completely not work make the most of it while I can!

Merry Christmas Brig and the F30 committee

Unfortunately I'm pretty much on the wagon until nipper #3 arrives within the next couple of weeks - hopefully he'll be out in time for a proper Chrimbo celebration.

The perils of assuming-

Assumed as no decorations etc etc you were being the grinch

Instead looks like your being the new romantic
