Increasing Angel Eye Brightness w/ LUX V6's installed?

**EDIT**

Just did some forum searching and found my answer... probably not a good idea, and chances are changing the voltage will either fry them, shorten lifespan, or not do a whole lot at all.

Probably do nothing but fry them.

As far as I know, LuxAngelEyes use constant current drivers.....meaning, any input voltage will output the same current, regardless of input voltage.

When LuxAngelEyes first released their products, they were using LuxDrive buck pucks which accept 5-32v DC.

So in short, no, it will not affect brightness. However, you also will not harm anything by raising votlage, only by lowering voltage.

The input voltage must be higher than that of the load on the buck puck. Most white LEDs have a forward voltage of 3.3v. They should be wired in series to accurately control current distribution and thus 2 LEDs would put a 6.6v load on the buck puck. You will want to keep input voltage 1 volt higher than the load....2 volts to be safe.
