Idiotic bikers!!!!
Sorry. Need a rant!
Road busy on way home as there had been an accident. After passing the accident, the road cleared. Everybody was driving long dual carriageway at normal speed. Then a guy on a motorbike going very fast appears weaving between cars. He then pulled in front of me and threw his brakes on. Obviously wanting to exit at the junction he was now on top of! Flashed him as I had to break hard to avoid hitting him! I then get subjected to him tailgating me and giving usual hand signals. Not my style to engage in such nonsense, particulary as my 20 month year old daughter was in car! I then pulled off at my exit and he appears next to me nearly hitting my car. He was shouting expletives and was obviously wanting a fight. I just ignored him and he sped off! Apologies if this offends other bikers. But why do some of them feel they own the road? Now wishing I had had a camera to capture the incident. Maybe something for Santa to bring me! |

I'm a long time biker SO FECK OFF and leave us alone!!
LOL Only kidding, some of the worst road usage I've seen has been by bikers who think they are invincible. Nutters. Dave.

Had simillar once from a no brainer
Driving along an empty dual carriage way in the left lane at the speed limit when no brainer appears. Rides alongside for a while and then decides it would be fun to swerve from one side of the carriage way to the other seeing how close he could get to my car - like trying to push a car off in a b movie This carried on for quite a while when I got pissed off and thought I would join in the swerving fun. No brainer realised he's not going to win against a ton and half of Volvo and disappears Why ?????

Bikes are a daily pain on the A449, they constantly try to go down the middle, end up in wrong lanes, even try turning left from in front of your right wheel.
Toward one of the roundabouts both lanes tend to merge and any clown going down the middle gets stuck. However, it's always everyone else's fault that they have poor lane discipline. |

Lucky he didn't kick your car in and punch off your wing mirror with his Kevlar protected knuckles, those mental bikers like this muppet sounded will do it in a heartbeat.

I've never had anything like this happen to me but it does amaze me some of the risks I see bikers take. I often wonder whether it's my "non-biking" mind thinking it's dangerous or whether it actually is.
Undertaking/Weaving at ridiculous speeds on a motorway or dual carriage way is a prime example. |

I have found there is a small subset of riders who feel that the world is out to get them. They are generally small minded, less than intelligent people, who feel they are tough guys because they are a 'biker'. They focus so much on what other people are 'doing to them' and take everything personally. These people are a minority. While operating a vehicle on public roads smaller in size, weighing a fraction of everything around you, and having limited safety systems, this is a dangerous mindset to adopt for everyone on the road. By the definition of the word average, half the people on the road are below average drivers / riders / cyclists. I am sorry this happened to you. Just as there are moronic drivers of every type of vehicle, you encountered the bottom 5%. Just as one has empathy for, and compromise your expectations of people with diminished mental capacity, I find it best to make that assumption of people who behave badly. It is difficult, but rarely is there an upside to engaging. When I ride, I regularly encounter drivers drift into my lane, turn in front of me, and generally drive like ass hats. I don't take it personally, I just do my best to avoid the situation and carry on. This sounds like your modus operandi as well, more or less. I realize that the people driving badly are, just that, bad drivers, they are not out to get me. While 50% of the drivers on the road are below average, only .06% of the populations are actual psychopaths. Just as some BMW drivers park in 2 spaces and fail to use indicator lights, I know it is not the majority. This is the same with motorcyclists, there is an expression that there are old riders, there are bold riders but there are few old, bold riders. As Seinfeld said, George: "People!!!" Jerry: "Ugh, they're the worst..." B. Last edited by bueller; 12-16-2015 at 07:49 AM.. |

If he does, his bike better be 5x faster than my car, cause I'm chasing him down. And I'm sure everyone else would as well if he did that to their car.

I must know the boring bikers. Those I know are safer, more careful, more considerate and indeed better than many car-only drivers that I know.
I have seen a few wankers on the road however, but these are vastly outnumbered by the wankers in cars. |

But there are those on motorbikes who fit the description of the idiots mentioned by the OP. Small minority. Just as there are few on this board that fit the stereotype BMW driver... |

Happens all to often these days, even between bikers, I had it recently from 2 piece suit wearing city boy on a Supermoto. City boy carved me up and I chose not bite back. I stayed behind him to see him jump a red light, weaving round traffic crossing the junction in the process. I caught up with the cretin at a traffic light. I was shaking my head and he started giving me abuse. I suggested he pull over to side of the road. We did and he got of his bike and carried on with the verbal diarrhea. This chap was wearing an Italian style momo type open faced helmet sporting a go-pro type camera. I asked if the camera was switched on. He said no. What happened next is best not to go into specifics on a public forum. Alas, him in his tailored threads end up on the ground with a nose bleed. I rode off.
