Deals on SiriusXM renewals?

Anyone get any good deals on XM renewal lately? I just got my expiration notice from my 1-year free subscription. I remember there used to be $77/year deal but I don't think they are honoring them anymore.

I'll probably just re-up 2 years to get through my lease end.

Please share your promo deals/codes!! thanks in advance!

Interested in this as well. I just got my notice that I was renewed for the next 3 months to the tune of around $60... I was planning on calling them but I'll wait to see if anyone knows of any deals

Simple, just call them and say you are canceling, "too expensive".
Automatically get a 1/2 price deal. I do it for all three of my cars and never pay full price.

Same, never pay full price. I've always renewed using the $25/3 months type deals. Or I let it lapse for a few weeks and usually they drop the price then. The operators are usually very willing to work with you.

Just tell them it's too expensive and you want to cancel. You'll get jerked around a bit while he/she "checks with their supervisor" but hold fast. Reject the supervisor offer and they will come around with something you can live with. The other alternative already mentioned is to cancel and wait for the $25 offer to come in the mail. I don't have the patience for that routine.

Ditto for me. Usually let it expire, they call, I say no, they drop price, I say yes.
I think it's usually even under $10 a month...someone mentioned 3mths/$25 which sounds about right.

In Canada, there is about $40 a year in taxes and a levy to go a piracy for artists fund or something like that. I negotiated down to $75 a year for the service but actual costs were about $120

I don't know how you guys can tolerate the sound quality of satellite radio. The bitrate is so awful. Voice channels are 24kbps and music channels are 40-64kbps. On the Harmon/Kardon system in my F31 the fidelity is shockingly bad. Garbled/underwater/extremely compressed/lossy. I am much more content to pay $9.99 a month for Spotify and have whatever music I want, whenever I want it, streaming in at near-perfection (320kbps). Talk radio/news is a different animal, but there are also free streaming services for those things.

I pay $24.99 every six months plus around 5 dollars in fees for ~30 bucks. Set an appointment in my calendar to call a few days before the six months is up and ask for the same plan and always get it. Been doing it for 5+ years now, it actually used to be cheaper, but seems to go up a dollar every year or so. Pretty positive that is the cheapest plan, just ask for it.

If you call them you can always beat them down and work out some kinda X/months or years for X amount deal.

i'm letting it lapse. someone on another message board recommended some ebay user who sells 1 year for $57. (all included!) but it has to be applied to an expired radio. a handful of users have done it and no problems for several years.

I was able to get 5 months for 20 dollars just last week. call customer service and tell them you had received a letter regarding reconnecting and the rate was around 4 dollars. They usually do it.
