Trouble with amp install

I'm trying to install the bimmertech amp but I don't know how to remove this little stud without breaking it, any help?

its alot easier than you think. I had this problem as well. There are 2 parts to this clip, you just pull out the first layer and the bottom layer comes right off. Basically there is a pin (the round black top you see in the picture) and surrounding the pin is a loose encasing. While the pin is there the casing expands holding the clip in place. But if you remove the top pin (by prying or pulling it out by hand) you can then remove the secondary casing..
hope I didn't over complicate it.

That particular one is very hard to remove if I recall. In theory it opens like all the other plastic rivets. But I couldn't get mine off either. I had to cut it off. I think the center part locks and it's bigger than the others. I never bothered replacing it.

I had the same problem with that clip.

In the end, i just left it and managed to work around it without having to remove the whole panel.

Same, the first time I removed the clip but after some hiccups with the install, I worked around it the second time round.

The clip comes in two piece but it's rather firm, I would suggest using a trim removal tool to leverage the top clip.
