Red face OSS Style Angel eye DIY Blackout vs OEM

Hey guys, I am currently doing a OSS style angel eye DIY on my space grey e92. I need your opinions on blackout vs oem with angel eyes. First pic is my car, what do you guys think? do full blackout or just leave the parts chrome?

Thanks

(my car)

If you plan on going with other black accents (you already have black grill, maybe black rims or other black or CF) then defo blackout the lights. If not, I still prefer black but oem looks good too.

I'm blacking mine out in the next couple months but I'm not 100% on if I'll be doing LED angel eyes or not.

I like blackout housing without the blacked out side marker. Just a personal preference, looks cleaner I think.

Pardon my ignorance but how easy is it do the blackout? I kind of want to do it to mine also. Mine seem kind of dark in this picture because of the Laminex protection and black eyebrow but in direct light you don't notice the Laminex as much.

Crap, am I one of the only few who did angel eyes but left it chrome? I kind of like that oem+ look though.

Previous owner did angel eye and left chrome on the car I have now. I think it looks really sharp, I just prefer the blacked/tinted look on everything.

It definitely looks clean, but a darker color brings more contrast to the angel eyes. I personally got tired of my black out so I switched it up with two tone space grey / graphite combo

Sorry for the bad quality phone pics, ill take some better ones later (the lights on look a bit weird in the pictures, looks great in real life though).

I still haven't done the Euro corner delete, and sorry about my lip fitment , I still haven't fully installed it.

Hey,

It wasn't too hard, just need some patience. I bought the iJDMtoy angel eyes from ebay, they were around $120 CAD.

I followed this DIY:
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=847884

I did not smoke the cornering light lense, and I kept the projector stock. I tried two different paints, dupli colour and rustoleum, the rustoleum was so much better, I wish I used it in the beginning. Just make sure you do your prep perfect for paint, make sure all spots are sanded well.
