Personalised plates onto a lease car?

Hi, hope someone can help.

My wife is selling her Jag which has private plates on it. She wants to move the plates onto the new VW Touareg (VW are doing some cracking deals right now

) lease that is coming.

We're not sure at all about how to go about this, has anyone done it? What is the process?

I know some see private plates as the preserve of the inadequate so that bit of helpful input is covered, but any useful help would be greatly appreciated.

Put your existing plate on retention or transfer it.

Lease company will want their details as the nominee, contact them to ask their procedure and cost.

Should be straight forward.
