Am due to get my new F32 by the beginning of Feb but will need to keep my old car for around a month as my missus is using it to learn to drive.

My question is...Having to transfer my no claims to the new F32 (with just me on ), what's going to be the cheapest way of running the old car for around 1month-6 weeks with just me as the primary driver and missus as a named driver?

Anyone done anything similar? Any recommendations of insurers?

Admiral seem quite sensible when we were juggling cars and moving insurance from Ford to Admiral.

Probably simplest way is a new temporary policy on your old car.

I would just give Admiral (or LV) a call and ask.

We just swapped the insurance to the new car and asked them to insure the old one for 30days while we sold it...... Was about 25 quid.
