Requesting bc br installed pics in engine bay
Anyone have any pictures of their set-up?
Trying to compare it to my set-up. Have a weird feeling I have installed one incorrectly. As the settings are facing different directions. |

What are you on about dude? Are you talking about the damper knob? There is practically only way way to install the coilovers otherwise they wouldn't bolt up back to front so to speak?? |

check this D.J The Dashes show the placement of the top. one is 90 degree horizontal and the other is diagonal hope that makes sense. So the question: does it make a difference? thanks |

Ahh yes i see what you mean now!
Looks like the strut top/pillowball mount has been assembled and thus mounted incorrectly... is this a DIY install or a workshop? Have you had the car aligned? What this means is on the RH side (passenger side im assuming) if you go to adjust the camber using the adjustable pillowball mounts it will adjust toe (?) more so than camber!! If your alignment is fine, and you wont be adjusting maybe leave it, if not and you paid someone to install it take it back and get them to repair it! |

Alignment is wack. Was a diy... Never checked till a few days ago.
That's why I wanted someone to either post their pictures or recommend what I should do. I haven't played with the settings at all. We're previously installed on a 335 by BMW. So I would imagine that I should start with aligning the fitments first. Others pics would be handy. |

Left looks correct. The slotting has to be horizontal or else it won't adjust camber. Basically the slot allows you to adjust the angle of the strut which changes camber. The way your right one is installed, it would move the shock at a weird angle. I don't know if your suspension is even meant to be compressed at that angle.
I'm surprised it's possible to install that way. On my Infiniti with BC's, the 3 upper mount bolts only align a certain way (it's evenly spaced) so you can't misalign it. |

These are evenly spaced so they fit either way... From what I remember. I think that's how I got into this dilemma. Will change to horizontal today. |
