Need Remote DME update

Hello,
I have purchased a Cobb AP V3 but cant get it to work. I have to get my DME updated first. Is there anyone on here that can do this update remotely?
I am willing to pay for service via paypal. Also it is important that the person has reference to others who have gotten reliable service from him/she.

I have a 2011 335i E90 with N55 motor..

Tools on hand

Let me know if the above cable can work too. Thanks

I am upgrading ROM so as to be able to use the Cobb V3. Wildcatcrazy will be helping with it. I hope to get my battery programmed in too among other stuff. I am planning on asking him about the PPK flash but want to get the more important stuff out the way first.

Oh ok well make sure you ask him. I would have him do 98G0B as it seems to be the newest that'll still be compatible with the Cobb and with BMS flashes and you can always add ppm to it.

I find it weird that you keep saying upgrade tho. Our cars have an older ROM that's already compatible with the Cobb unless your rom has been upgraded thats when its no longer compatible and now you have to revert it back to an older rom.

when you plug your cobb in what rom does it say you have?

You could be right. When I connect it, it says :"This ROM is not supported by COBB due to possible flash errors. Please have your DME updated by an authorized BMW dealer before attempting to use the Accessport"
The message did say update though.

I'll flash the latest PPK, which should take care of the issue.

The reason I asked, is because I went thru this dilemma before. A local shop upgrade my car with the latest PPK flash which updated my ROM making the Cobb incompatible and I was receiving the same message as Jamaican. I had to have them flash my car back to the ROM which the car came with 98G0B which is compatible with Cobb but I lost the PPK. I found out that it's possible to keep the older ROM and add the PPK files to it which is what I did.

If you update your ROM to the latest PPK which utilizes the newest ROM you car won't be compatible with the COBB nor will you be able to use any of the BMS flashes for instance if you upgrade your turbo. You need one of these ROMs 98G0B 98D0B 97V0B

Now I'm not an expert but I've done a lot of reading and test and trials myself

Here goes a good thread to read thru, I'm not the only one who has experienced it so again use one of the above listed ROMs preferably 98G0B then add the PPK files to it.
