Siri via steering wheel button?

I have the 6.5 inch screen with bluetooth streaming/telephone.
Is there any way to code a button to activate Siri?

The voice-button on the wheel does nothing when I press it?
What is it for?

I have no nav in my car if that matters?

Also, what is the telephone button on the wheel for?

To access Siri, I have to long press the voice command button. A single press accesses the iDrive voice command system.

is this only for NBT nav?

CIC doesn't work for this yeah?

Only NBT units, and only those NBT units in vehicles produced after a certain date have it.
