Quite interested in the quattro petrol estate. 250 bhp is probably enough in the real world with wife and kids in on board. Handling is supposed to be much improved, although still not up to BMW, but for 95% of it's life ride / interior / noise (or lack there of), with a reasonable get up and go makes sense. And I think it looks better than the F31.
Now if BMW did a properly sorted X-Drive 340i... |

It's ok. A bit vanilla for my tastes. 1.4tsi 150 is a bit of a joke I think...

I had a play in one when they came out, the interior is a huge step up from there F30.....but as others have said the exterior is very plain on the outside.

I don't like the new style front grill. It's huge on the Q7. It seems as per usual with Aldi, that they are following suite with all the other models too. I quite like Aldi's, but the new massive front grill has spoilt them for me. I do like anything with their RS badge on though.

Had an A6 Avant 2.5TDi and an A6 1.8T once upon a time. Handled like rowing boats and the dealerships were awful. Wouldn't touch an Audi again.

The one big advantage that an A4 provides, is you can keep it 15 years and it will never look dated when compared with the newest (at the time) A4.
Stick a private plate on, decent paint protection, a new A4 for life. You can tell everyone it's a year old.... Big bucket of bland for people with no imagination... |

Interesting that when BMW moved most away from their lineage with the E60, most people wanted the F10 to be more like the E39.... I currently drive an A6. I started out wanting a 330d but the dealers were rubbish and didnt try to sell me anything, the interior was a bit meh, and it felt a bit same old same old... My A6 wont ever drive like a 330d but then I dont drive like I used to and its a great waft along car with a fantastic quality feel to the interior. I may have an A4 next, I may have a 5 series. I could even have a Jag or a LR. I'm not brand loyal just because its than brand - it has to be right for me. |

He he, I wonder if Renault and Citroen owners engage in brand "loyalty"? Actually, I've owned both and can't remember the badge driven animosity. Then again, I owned 2 Audis before my Bavarian wagon.

If you look at the pictures in this post http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=757766 I think it's fair to say the BMW didn't exactly make great leaps in the styling department between E90 and F31
