Spark plugs

I'm sure there is a thread about this somewhere but does anyone have a link to where I can buy a new set of spark plugs for 335i N54?
Do I need special plugs for the set up I'm running now?

Some use the NGK 9552 plug which is 1 heat range cooler and is gappable.

They have now been superseded to NGK 95770.
You can grab them at most automotive parts stores or eBay.

FYI I would only gap NGK iridium plugs with the disc shaped gap tool:

Using the other style tools you run a good chance of damaging the brittle iridium electrode.

Would the oem/Bosch plugs work fine as a replacement for a FBO car, or do I need to get them "fancy custom" plugs?

DO NOT gap them with a disc shaped tool!

It damages the iridium tips by wedging that tool in there. Use the proper wire tool for gapping iridium tipped plugs!!!

Disc shaped tool would work fine, you don't wedge the tool into the gap. You use the hole to lever the gap open and the tool never touches the electrode.

85hp I thought it was closer to 110hp plus the red air scroops add another 15 which all up equals Awesome lol.

Seriously now not sure they add anything I just hope they take care of the misfiring I'm getting in WOT

Absolutely! I even painted my spark plugs red so that they go faster! The scroops are the best mod by far, the Bugatti Veyron even uses a big Scrooop at the front, they must be the goods!
I changed to the NGK plugs as Terry from BMS advised me to run them with E85

Actually I just finished installing them and they have made a big difference...
Pulls smooth, no more misfires.

Old Bosch plugs were in pretty good shape, probably still 50% left in them but there is massive difference with the NGKs in....

Happy that doing something to fix an issue with the car actually worked !!!

What happened to just using good old regular copper plugs.

From my understanding fancy shite like platinum and iridium plugs are used by manufacturers because they last much longer and hence longer service intervals.

But the catch is that those cars were stock, once you start modifying shite and running like double the boost on a FBO car, the plugs will foul up much quicker requiring shorter change intervals anyway, defeating the purpose of the fancy plugs.

At least that was my understanding coming from JDM cars, or is this another case of fancy BMW dme if you don't use specific plugs, the dme will chuck another CEL... 😂

I think that the stock plugs will have a shorter life also when running 20psi and lots of redline.
We use the NGK plugs as they are a step cooler plug from memory

Just moved house, no money left to the point I started driving the skyline as the daily now

At least the only things it needs is a rear shock, picked up a used suspension set for $50...
