Hi guys, I did search but can't quite seem to find the write answer as most guides are for retrofitting used FRM2/3's to cars with FRM1.
I need to code a brand new FRM module to a car, it's like for like and from a main dealer. I have all the software and cables and have coded features and reset short circuit counters etc but nothing with winKFP. How do I get the new FRM coded to the car? VIN and software wise. It states same SW version on both new and old modules. P.S this is a friends 2004 E60

You should be able to just simply use NCS Expert using an expert mode profile and code the FRM to default. The FRM will then take the VIN and VO values which are stored in your CAS.
You can of course flash the module with winkfp first if it is not programmed already. |

That's what I thought about NCS, just don't want to mess up his £400 module by doing something wrong.
I've never used WinKFP before to program a module though.
