Colored Roundel Emblem Covers

I'm looking at getting these in Carbon Fiber - Red:
http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-47...ing-wheel.aspx

They're literally just colored vinyl stickers to cover all the BMW emblems and roundels. Does anybody have any experience with these?
I'm skeptical that they would last long in varying weather and temperature conditions. What installation process would you recommend? Perhaps a coat of wax on the emblems first? Or rubbing alcohol? Or just stick them on?

Thanks

I brought a set of those a few years back from a vendor at bimmerfest and I just used a quick detailer on the emblems to make sure they were clean and just stuck them right on. They lasted about a year at which point the corners on them begin to peel and unfortunately when one starts to go you gotta remove them all or else it'll look funny I paid $5 for the ones I had. If you use a pressure washer on your car or a strong wheel cleaner they will fall off alot faster. I've since removed them all but the one on my steering wheel haha

I ended up getting Black Metallic and Gloss dark red from Metro Styling. However the red looks a bit orange in the sun.

I'll probably replace the red with either Imola red or matte frozen red from Bimmian:

I assume to remove the current red vinyl stickers I just hear them up and peel them off with a knife?
