What its best, more important for you and your X1 F48??

Hello everybody! My car it’s a F10 525d Xdrive. I order for my wife X1 f48. The car will be used by both of us, maybe also in holidays. I want to talk about the optional equipment that u consider best fit for u.

My choise:

Bmw X1 F48 18d Xdrive M Sport

M Sport Package
Mineral white paint
Sport automatic transmission
Panoramic glass sunroof
Adaptive LED Headlights
Sliding rear seat bench
Rear-view mirror, auto dimming
Seat heating, front
Electronic Damper Control (EDC)
Reversing Assist camera
Front and back parcking sensors
Light package

I would like a full option model but the price rise to much. So:

- M Sport comes with all this special trims and options included( on other packages the M wheel costs 360e, sport seats 500e, EDC its 500e, anthracit its 200e….)
-NO NAVIGATION because i have on my F10, and the thing that bothers me its that the navi its so expensive and it doesn’t have SPEED CAMERAS. I want to buy a TOMTOM navi for that

The one thing I would not be without is the HUD. It is fantastic.
I know you said you didn't want Navigation but in the UK it comes packaged.
It is expensive but imo worth every £.

I second that - I didn't get the package with the HUD, and definitely regret it. Otherwise that's a great looking spec list. You might want to consider getting the front parking sensors (Again part of a pack in the UK) to complement the reversing camera - I find it very useful to see what the front end is doing when turning and reversing at the same time.

Difficult one as ours is pretty loaded, but must haves for me would be nav, HUD, and uprated hi fi assuming the model has led lights as standard.

Hi Bluezed. i dont have HUD on my F10. Same problem, to expensive. We make holidays with the 5er. We usualy travel in Europe with the car, but i think i will try the X1 for next trips. In Romania Navi Plus with HUD its almost 3000e.
Like i told u, i will buy a TOMTOM nav specially for the speed cam

Looking at your list, I would definitely add the HUD, sensor operated tail gate and lighting package to it.
We must be very lucky in Australia.
BMW here decided to include all the must haves in the XDirve25i.
I only had to add the Met paint, panorama sunroof and DAB radio. I didn't go for the HK sound system after listening to the standard system in the test X1 I had for two days ( pretty good). It is not that different to the HK I have in the 125i, except for the big deep base on loud'ish' volume. I have attached the full list from here as it shows all the options here. You might see something else you want.

In Romania u can buy stock model, almost no options(basic). And depends on your budget, how much u want to spend, u can build it. in M package i have Light Package included.
In my opinion i got a very good deal for my F48, a big discount. its 41k Euro VAT included( 34,5k w/o Vat). i bought it on my company so i deduct the Vat.

It is interesting how much the "standard" specification and options are so different around the world! In the UK to my surprise, cruise control does not come as standard, so that was an option I added (in UK you can get basic cruise, sensors and extended lighting as a package). Cruise definitely helps me on long drives, it was an essential for me.
