Black grills on a black car

My car is Ruby black and I'm considering changing the chrome style grills for the black ones. They transformed my F30 as it was MG but will it be too much on a black car?
What's your thoughts guys?
Thought I'd get more responses here as on 6post it's very quiet and it's not OT as it applies to all our our Bmw's? Any one got any pics with black grills on their black cars?

I personally don't like it on black cars, meshes the front details together too much...

Leave it as it is, black on black looks a bit drug dealer.....just in my opinion of course.

I had black grilles on my black F10 and I think it looked awesome. They look so much better in the flesh than on a photo.

My f30 looked a lot more aggressive with black grills I must admit. Going try a bit of a colour match thing on my phone on my car picture see how it looks.

I wonder what about the ones that have the M colours on them? Or they look a bit nasty? Not seen them in the flesh

By contrast I think they look superb on a black car, and hate them on EBII/MG

Personally think it looks great, but what you think is important, it's reversible remember and I guess you would recoup half cost of grills if you swapped back.
Ps love the 6 series

They look great on a black car - I would say that - but the photos do the look no justice.

Yeah the cost doesn't matter to much just didn't want it looking cheap. But I'm sure it will look good. Thanks it's my favourite Bmw to date :-)

I have some for mine, they lasted about half an hour, I'm just not convinced they work with a black car.

As many have already said, they look very different in the flesh than on photos.

I'm having them fitted by the dealer before I pick it up, they're a no brainer for me, chrome just isn't nice!

Yes black with black is great.

Removes those shiny bits.

It's a bonus stealth look

I think I would prefer the black as not overly keen on the chrome style. Another thing for the missus to say spending more money are we lol
