The M2 is also in Berlin now, in two colours.
Hi guys,
I would like to share the pictures I made yesterday in Berlin. There are much more, but this is a first good glimpse. Drove 900 kilometer for "him" and it was worth every kilometer, really! The M2 is shown at the "BMW Haus" at Kurfürstendamm, Berlin. |

Thanks for the pics!
Sucks hearing lately everyone who has seen AW in person is not liking it. Looks like i'm going to have to jump ship and go with LBB which is the only color i've seen in person and looks awesome! |

I'm off to Berlin for work tommorow and may have some free time! However I don't really know the city..
Can you confirm the address is: Kurfürstendamm 31, 10719 Berlin? Also do you have to pay to get in? And when is it open? Sorry to be a pain! I tried to look online but it's all in German haha.. Thanks in advance! J |

@Jason: Yes, the address is correct. You do not have to pay anything. Just walk in and get in love. They should have open all day long (09:00 - 19:00 i think).
atxsk8r : Right, I'm not liking the AW M2, im loving it! Ordered it in that colour 3,5 month ago and it was the right decision. It is looking very good in that colour for me! |

As to the payment - I didn't know what this BMW Haus was. I initially thought it was like a small BMW museum or something & didn't have time to do research. However after visiting tonight I can confirm it is not a Dealers; it's literally a show room. As in just a fancy place on the Kurfürstendamm (lots of high end shops like channel, Porsche design e.c.t amongst others, Similar to London's Oxford Street) for BMW to show off it's latest & greatest. Quick few thoughts: Really aggressive and angular design - much more noticeable in real life than pics. The sides are especially impressive. Car seems much more compact compared to what I was expecting - don't know why just does. However all that design in a tight package really does work and creates presence. Exhaust diameter seems much bigger in person. LBB looks great on M2 like it did on the X6M I saw at my dealers, really highlights curves / angles due to multiple tones. The white M2 looks dull next to it in my opinion. (Colour is very personal so each to their own though). Interior seems nicely done, carbon trim has bumped texture when you pass your fingers over it. Finally thanks to Bamowe for the initial heads up post - wouldn't have known it was there if not! |
