Interesting that all of the BSM M2's I've seen have had chrome window trim.

I love that it's much louder than a stock M3/M4. Surely attributed to the basically straight pipe exhaust they fitted from the factory. I hated that my E90 335i came with secondary cats and a resonator in addition to the muffler. Smh.

It will definitely be louder than an M4. Have you seen the undercarriage? Only primary cats to a muffler.

You would be very surprised then. Heard plenty of X4 MPA's, and they aren't what I call quiet at all.

And deeper due to the single pipe system. Akra exhaust should sound real deep and burbly...

And hopefully Akrapovic retains the stock valve configuration instead of going BT like the MPE.

Agreed, it's weird how MPE went BT lol - It so aftermarket... They're really trying to impress the crowd with this car... It's almost like Mercedes took too many sales with the A45 and this is there answer for a fun, cool, well priced performance car.

Also, single turbo as opposed to quieter twins. I had AR Design catless DP on my N54 335i mated to a single 3.5" straight pipe (no cats, res, or mufflers) and it STILL sounded a bit tinny and high due to the twin turbos. I'm looking forward to running a similar setup on this car. Maybe.

Euro M2s all come with chrome from what I've read from their product guides. The black shadow line is a no cost option.

The other way around... Shadow line is standard and Chrome line is a no cost option. On non M-sport and M cars Chrome line is standard and Shadow line costs extra (included on M Sport and on M).

Shadow line is an option from BMW Individual that the US for some reason has decided to set as a default option. A good thing though as it looks the best.
